BROTHER ROUNSAVILLE OPENED THE DOOR TO CHRISTMAS BRIGHT MAJESTY TONIGHT IN SPRINGFIELD!!! FROM LARRY KELDERHOUSE. N, SPG MO. 4DECEMBER2011

This is the church I love.
Although, I haven't been back since Dr. W.E. Dowell Sr. and Bill Dowell Jr. were Pastors here.
Dr. Dowell and "Mr Missions" Fred Donnelson were two of the founders of the Baptist Bible Fellowship International. Although I never met Brother Donnelson before he passed, I did know his wife Effie, who gave me a copy of the book she wrote about him.
I remember Dr. Harry E. Vickery too; didn't he plant Cherry Street Baptist and Baptist Temple? ...Another great man of God.
These folks, among others, have greatly shaped my life - I will always view Baptist Temple as my family and my first church home.Added September 21, 2016 by Michael Robinson
